Christmas 2011

Christmas on Kauai
I'm such a busy boy...  "mixing" and popping bubbles.

This tricycle was waiting for my arrival!  Look at the blanket Grammy made for me!  I love them both!

Christmas decorations at the County Building and in Kalaheo.

 Christmas Eve family picture

 Christmas Eve fun!

caught under the mistletoe!  nah, j/k i said "give tiss" to Uncle Troy.

...And the best gift of all...
Merry Christmas everyone!  Wishing you all the best in 2012.

Christmas Cookies

Grammy Nan said that we could make some cookies tonight.  I had a lot of fun rolling out the dough, "cutting"out the cookies, decorating, and of course - eating them!   Want some? Hope you are making Christmas memories too!

...on a totally unrelated note, Kolby has learned lots of new tricks!  He can count (one, two, six, seven, eight, nine...and sometimes he will go up to sixteen), he sings (we need video of this, but he gets interested in the camera), he dances (his fave is the "Hot Dog Dance" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), and he totally loves the iPad.  He has made "shi-shi potty" a few times, but never poo-poo potty.  Hopefully soon though!

He is very curious about the world around him and loves to ask, "What dat?," "Where going?," "What's dat noise?," and "What doing?"  He still is very fascinated with brooms, rakes, and other tools that "clean mess."  Lots more to learn!  I hope he will always be interested in everything!

Halloween 2011

Aloun Farms (October 16)

Hay ride, hay ride! I love tractors!

Look - pumpkins!

Daddy carved my pumpkin!

Thomas!

Trying out my costume that mom made - the legs are a little long!

Me (octopus), Josiah (Lightning McQueen's driver), and Micah (Luigi)

"Trick-Tree"

Micah, wait for me!

I had a lot of fun and would say "I want more" (trick-or-treating)
[We were out for over an hour!]

Cole and Micah check out their stash!

It's cupcake time!

Micah, look at my Percy PEZ dispenser.
Dad says Percy can only make one a day, so "no more," but "I want more PEZ."

(Seriously, the boy catches on really quickly - I don't think we mentioned PEZ more than twice, but he remembered what it was called - or - he can read!)

Hope you enjoyed Halloween and the latest pictures. We are looking forward to the rest of the holidays and hopefully can catch up with you. Take care!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Okay, not quite, but Kolby is totally into all those things plus a lot more! Here are some of my encounters with "Things That Go!"

I climbed into this wagon all by myself.

Vroom, vroom on my bus!

"Trains" (aka "Choo-choos")
I got my first trains, Thomas and Percy, when I went to Kauai and I loved them so much that I wouldn't let them go because before I had to play with stickers and would pretend that they rolled on the ground.

...and I even got to ride a real train on Kauai! ...and feed goats and pigs too!

This dump truck isn't only for the beach!

Riding/driving trucks at Uncle Hideo's truckyard. It took me a little while before I felt comfortable around all these big trucks!
(Mom's fave pic = the bottom right - "look out for that truck!")

Grandpa's truck

"Fire Truts!" I love Red, the remote controlled fire truck.
